- Continue on a boat ride along the river to view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages.
- Visit small An Khanh village, which specializes in fruit orchards and coconut sweets, cycle along the village to the orchards then taste honey and exotic fruits such as coconut, banana, mango, pineapple, rambutans, durian, orange, watermelons, longans, grapefruit, grape fruit,etc.
- Join a coconut candy workshop and observe the manual process of making coconut candies. This is an interesting experience for your kids!
- Row in a boat along an arroyo submerged in the shade of the coconut palm trees. During this cruise, you can admire the beauty of the Vietnamese rural landscape, visit floating villages and aquaculture farms, taste exotic fruits as well as discover the daily life of local villagers.

- After early breakfast, discover Cai Rang Floating Market – the largest, important and lively “floating hall” of the Mekong Delta . Your family will have the opportunity to slide into small canals shaded by tropical fruit orchards, where you can taste the fresh fruit picked on site such as watermelons, carrots, dragon fruits, coconut, grapefruit, bananas, longans, oranges…
- Sample local fruits while the boat takes you cross myriads canals.
- Visit an ancient house of Binh Thuy, formerly called Temple of Long Tuyen which was built in 1870 with French style in architecture but still remained traditional features of Southern style.

A wholesaler on Cai Rang Floating Market
- In the morning, drive about 40 kilometers outside of Ho Chi Minh City to visit the amazing Cu Chi Tunnels. As the location of several military campaigns during the Vietnam War, the tunnels were the Viet Cong’s base of operations for the Tet Holiday (Tết) Offensive in 1968.
- Crawl around in the safer parts of the tunnel system. The 100-meter long tunnel (designed specifically for tourists) situated 7 meters underground was very dark, narrow, and feels claustrophobic.
- When coming back to Ho Chi Minh City, take a sightseeing tour around the city:
- Reunification Palace, whose architecture is a blend of traditional ritual and modern style.
- War Remnants Museum containing exhibits from the Vietnam War and the first Indochina War.
- Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral famous for not only Catholics but also its neo-Romanesque style architecture and a sacred atmosphere

Our organisor at Viet Prestige (Hoa Pham) was brilliant from start to finish. She designed and arranged our 15 day tour through Vietnam & Cambodia and our expectations were exceeded in every way.
