In the next part, make your way to Phnom Penh by speedboat.   • Transfer about 2 hours south of Hanoi to Ninh Binh, our first stop is Hoa Lu – the ancient capital of the Dinh and Le dynasties dating back to the 11th century
  • Enjoy a delicious lunch with specialties of Ninh Binh at a local restaurant.
  • Board a small boat and meander lazily down the river to the ancient caves in Tam Coc, considered as Halong Bay on land. See limestone karsts jetting skywards out of electric green rice paddies. Return to the pier.
  • Transfer to Bich Dong Pagoda nearby, which comprises three structures: Ha (Low), Trung (Middle), and Thuong (Upper) pagodas in ascending order at the side of a rocky mountain.
  • Take a slow hike up to visit the three structures. Beside learning about the local belief, you will get a beautiful view when you reach the highest one.
  • Transfer back to Hanoi and overnight in Hanoi.

  • Next, we will admire Ta Prohm,temple, one of the area’s most beautiful temples; Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery.
  • Visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat, dating back to 12th century, this masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture.
